[Trip Review] Best things to do in Liverpool
If you are visiting the UK, don't miss Liverpool! Let me share with you what are the best things to do in Liverpool!
TRAVELUNITED KINGDOM
My list of the best things to do in Liverpool may look quite different from other lists. I promise you will still have a great time :)
Attractions - Museum of Liverpool
Explore and understand Liverpool's rich history at the Museum of Liverpool, situated just a short walk from the Royal Albert Dock. You can learn about Liverpool's maritime past, dive deep into local football history, or revisit the phenomenon that was The Beatles. There's something for everyone, so just be yourself, and explore what fascinates you.

Attractions - St George's Hall and Central Library
St George's Hall is a Neoclassical venue opened in 1854, opposite Lime Street railway station. The venue contains concert halls and law courts.
Yes, St George's Hall is beautiful, but don't miss the Liverpool Central Library too. The Central library is as beautiful as any other library in the world.

Attractions - Anfield
Anfield is home to Liverpool F.C.; one of the biggest, and most successful football clubs in the world. It is quite a walk to get to Anfield, you can take a bus, but most people will just walk. Tickets are hard to come by, but you should watch a game at Anfield if you can. The atmosphere is unbeatable.

I managed to catch a game by booking a hospitality package. A hospitality package typically consists of a meal, some event or entertainment (e.g. a visit from an ex-player), and a ticket to the game.
My hospitality package was at the Sandon, where Liverpool F.C. was founded. I was served a two course meal, and managed to take pictures with David Fairclough, an ex-player from Liverpool!

Remember what I said earlier about an unbeatable atmosphere? Just watch these two clips and you'll understand why :D
Attractions - Murals
The neighbourhood around Anfield is famous for the murals. Your job is to find all of them :P

Attractions - Visit a Local Pub
Liverpool is also famous for their pubs. If you are keen to immerse in the atmosphere of a matchday, but you are without a ticket to the match, the best way to do so is to hangout at a local pub.
I recommend Taggy's. Taggy's is not just a pub with indoor seating, it also has a beer garden. Taggy's is just a short walk from Anfield, and the matchday atmosphere is great. Taggy's also organises LFC-themed events, such as End of Season parties, so do keep a lookout for them.

What should you eat at Liverpool?
I recommend a delicious meal of Fried Chicken at Chop Chop. Chop Chop serves japanese-style (e.g. Katsu) and korean-style fried chicken (e.g. chicken coated in yangnyeom). If you are not into chicken, they serve tofu too!
The food served at Chop Chop is hearty, fresh, and most importantly, delicious. Plus, the food is affordable.

If you are not confident about my recommendation, just remember that I'm not the only one recommending Chop Chop, Michelin-starred chefs are recommending Chop Chop too.
Conclusion
There's more to Liverpool than just The Beatles, and Liverpool F.C.. If you are not interested in football or music, you will still have a great time at the Royal Albert Dock, but don't forget to visit the Museum of Liverpool, or the Central Library.
Last but not least, don't leave without eating at Chop Chop.
